Demand transparency and accountability from the PSC

Transparency and Accountability

Demand Transparency and Accountability From the PSC. Georgians deserve the truth about the real cost of data centers—not just in dollars, but in their impact on our health, our environment, and our communities. The public has a right to know who benefits, who pays, and who bears the consequences.

Joint Hubbard + Edwards on RTP Docket Vote

What began as an event featuring lieutenant governor nominee Josh McLaurin (D) turned into an unexpected gathering of three prominent Georgia Democrats Thursday night when Public Service Commission nominee Shelia Edwards and gubernatorial nominee Keisha Lance Bottoms made surprise appearances on Mercer’s Macon campus.

Data Centers Pay Their Way

Make Data Centers Pay Their Own Way—Not Georgia Families! Georgia welcomes innovation and economic growth, but it should never come at the expense of working families. As massive data centers and AI facilities place increasing demands on our electric grid, they must pay the full cost of the infrastructure needed to serve them—not shift those costs onto residential customers and small businesses.

Write a short blurb about an issue your campaign is highlighting. Try to keep the text a similar size between the various issue blurbs.

Lower Electric bills

Hold Georgia Power Accountable! For too long, Georgia families have shouldered the burden of repeated utility rate hikes while the Public Service Commission has failed to provide meaningful oversight. I am running to fight for affordable electric bills, demand greater transparency, and ensure Georgia Power is held accountable for every dollar it asks customers to pay.

My commitment to community service did not begin yesterday. It began as a child growing up in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. As one of nine children, we didn't have much, but I learned early that service is not about what you have—it's about what you are willing to give.
